Using the perimeter cove as a light shelf, we mounted spotlights to rake light through the many layers of blown glass.

Wynn wanted glass to spill out from the ceiling and be backlit as if there was a skylight above...
We worked with Chihuly and Wynn to create a 6’ deep light box to simulate a skylight and backlight the suspended blown glass.
The installation of glass and light was a colorful presence to welcome the tourist.
Artist, Dale Chihuly, was commissioned by Las Vegas Developer, Steve Wynn, to create an art glass ceiling for the new Bellagio Hotel.
